The United Nations declared 2025 as the International Year of Glaciers’ Preservation, an opportunity to raise global awareness about the critical role of glaciers.
I was approached to create; an identity, comprehensive guidelines and assets for the international year for use across all of their communications in all 6 of the official UN languages.
Built from a grid structure of 60 degree angles, the logo depicts 3 glacial peaks, utilising the colour palette of the relevant SDGs. Patterns and graphic assets were created from the 3 peaks of the logo, to add texture and interest to communications.
Many assets were created for use by the UN and WMO including; social media posts, posters, powerpoint slides and website banners.
