Unmapped is a gentle storytelling podcast which follows the stories of expats. I wanted to create cover art which reflected the theme of the podcast as well as it’s gentle, personal tone.

Below are three routes that were presented to the client. The first route (the selected route), resembling a map, contained two figures represented as islands separated by an ocean. Route two evoked the lonely yet exciting feeling of moving to a different country, with the podcast name appearing as a shadowy reflection. Route three, was a nod to the google maps peg man – a character who is literally unmapped, I adapted the iconic peg man to resemble Hannah, the podcast host.
