PHOTO SHOOT ART DIRECTION // PACKAGING DESIGN // LOGO CREATION // IN-RESTAURANT GRAPHICS
Whilst employed at The Marketing Store, I occasionally worked on their biggest client account – McDonald’s.
For the refresh of McDonald’s Chicken Legend Range, I was tasked with writing a photo brief, developing mood boards on a theme, curating assets and creating a distinct identity for the range. I was keen to emanate the look and feel of a rustic chicken shop and presented a proposal utilising, brass counter tops, worn wood panels and painted graphics which was selected by the client. I then attended a photo shoot, working with the photographers and food stylist to achieve the right result. With the photo shoot completed, I created a variety of assets for the range from; menu boards, to in-restaurant materials and adshel posters.
Another project for McDonald’s included the creation of a sub-brand called ‘Food for Thoughts’, customers were invited to share their feedback in exchange for McDonald’s freebies. An identity for the initiative was created as well as activation thoughts in the form of tray liners and cards clipped to takeaway bags.
